DevX is a mysterious character within ShiftOS. They makes an appearance in the opening scene of when the player's computer gets hijacked. After hijacking the player's computer, they format the player's computer using ShiftFS, and installs the ShiftOS operating system. DevX identity was never revealed in the game.
