[[ShiftOS]] is a game currently being developed by a team of developers, handpicked by former developer, Philip Adams. Development of ShiftOS started in November 2013 and various early builds of ShiftOS have been released since then. ShiftOS was made in Visual Basic.NET so you need to have the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 installed on your computer before you can play it. The game is based on a operating system on your computer called "ShiftOS" which is randomly installed during a remote hijack attempt on your computer made by DevX, the developer of ShiftOS (within the game). Initially you get a complete command line interface to play around with and the whole objective is to take it from a extremely simple OS to a completely modern OS, by upgrading and customizing your OS step by step. Each upgrade uses up a virtual currency called "Code Points" (referred as "CP" in the game in some places), which you can earn by playing minigames such as [[Knowledge Input]] and [[Pong]]. | [[ShiftOS]] is a game currently being developed by a team of developers, handpicked by former developer, Philip Adams.
