The ShiftOS terminal is an in-game application that allows you to type in commands that will perform operations in the operating systems. There are two terminals in ShiftOS - the full-screen one, activated with the Ctrl+T keyboard shortcut, and the windowed one, opened with the command open terminal or using the App Launcher. For example, typing in open knowledge input will open a program called "Knowledge Input."
Example commands
open <program name> - Opens a program.
close <program name> - Closes a program.
time - Displays the current time. The format depends on the level of upgrades bought in the Shiftorium.
save - Saves the player's progress in the game.
shutdown - Saves the player's progress in the game and quits it.
