[[File:Logo.png|thumb|169px|The Current ShiftOS logo.]][[File:9etp.png|thumb|356px|The Arch Linux distro logo of ShiftOS.]]ShiftOS is an upcoming game from Phillip Adams, of which he is best known for his game, Histacom, and his online show, OSFirstTimer.

==History==

ShiftOS started as an Arch Linux distro idea, which in it, every boot of the distro, will be a different experience. The idea is explained in the Arch Linux Forum: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1321642.

Phillip, however, drew back from the idea after realising that the distro will be hard to make.

He went on to making the game that we know today, using Visual Studio Express 2012.

The first version, 0.0.1, was released on 11/11/13. The second version, 0.0.2, was released the following day.
